Holding Off

I’ve been holding off blogging. I’ve been holding off replying to your email. I’ve been holding off doing a podcast. I’ve been holding off doing a regular email newsletter. I’ve been holding off deciding whether to do a new fanzine.
I’ve been holding off finishing my new EP. I’ve been holding off installing extra memory/hard drive into my Macbook. I’ve been holding off backing up my Macbook. I’ve been holding off buying an iPad.
I’ve been holding off, waiting for a better day. A day when everything naturally falls into place, without stress, without hassle, without complications. A day that never comes.

Me too. But I’m thinking it may be time to hold on instead, cause holding iff kinda sucks.

Definitely Jeb, life’s too short to wait for a perfect moment that is unlikely to ever come. You start putting things off and they just pile up behind you.
At the same time it can be a good idea to take a step back and make sure you’re headed in the right direction!
