Happy 2009 to you all and thanks very much to anyone who took the time and effort to have a look at this website in 2008. It’s still a work in progress but hopefully this year it’ll improve and there’ll be some useful/interesting posts to keep you reading.

Thanks also to anyone who subscribed to my podcasts and especially those who commented on any of the posts. 

To all the great folk I’ve had the pleasure to meet or catch up with through doing my radio show at Fresh Air or through The Skinny Magazine, or just at all the amazing gigs I’ve been to this year, thanks because you’ve made my year. That also goes to anyone who follows me on Tumblr or Twitter or who has befriended me on facebook or myspace – it means a lot to have an ongoing connection with all of you.

Finally to all the musicians who’ve brought out great music or played great gigs, and to the promoters who’ve organised them – and particularly everyone who’s given me permission to use their songs in my podcasts, I salute thee.
