Car-crash interlude at the Circus Fantasticus

If you’ve read this blog for a while you’ll remember my “I Was a Swivel Chair” story and the horrible final gig which we did as part of the Circus Fantasticus in Leith. (It ended in me throwing a drunken tantrum if you must know). Well on Sunday just past, I returned to the Circus Fantasticus, this time at Edinburgh’s hippy/punk hangout The Forest Cafe. Yes, they invited me back. I strapped on a borrowed electric guitar and through a mist of sheer terror I performed a few tracks in between a cracking performance by the newly reformed Quantum Ho Ho, The most bearable of which was probably the old favourite:
