"Milo will be shocked rigid and make protestations of amateurish bumbling when he sees me put him forward as an example of what a blog can and should be.  It may be rough, but there’s video, podcasts, writing, reviews, random bollocks and everything.  Apart from one unfortunate error, where he interviews yours truly on his podcast, this is a consistently excellent site." Matthew Toad

"I think the appeal is that Milo clearly is a geek in terms of technology and I know he won’t mind me saying that! With informative reviews regarding technology and then just as quickly he can be found writing and filming about things like Homegame Festival! His video blogs avec his lovely partner are both humorous and informative yet keep that realness about them. If you like your gadgets and want to keep up to date with music then this is a blog for you!" Halina Podcart

Hello and welcome to Products of a Gaseous Brain, best described as an online zine about all things creative & cutting edge, whether it be music, writing, technology or personal development. Whilst it is very much from my own personal perspective, I hope you'll also find the content useful/interesting.

About Me

My name is Milo,  a 32 year old writer and musician based in Edinburgh, Scotland. As a freelance writer I have been published in quite a few places -  The List Magazine, The Skinny Magazine, Scotsman.com, the Edinburgh Evening News, Just Another iPhone Blog, & Nude Magazine. I've also appeared as a guest on BBC Radio Scotland, presented my own radio show on Fresh Air FM, and recorded a monthly podcast called I Hear a New World.

I also currently work full-time as an administrator/media monitor in the Communications Department of The Scottish Government but I would ideally like to be a full-time writer and this blog is proving to be good practice.

Music

I've recorded music under my own name, for the band Swivel Chair, and under the name Tantrum Man and played live occasionally under all three names. I do still write and record my own songs, but it is currently very much a hobby/self-indulgence!
